[VIDEO/PHOTOS] Animals receive blessings in annual church tradition

Animal owners in Mexico celebrate an annual tradition in honour of Saint Anthony.
During the celebration, people bring their animals to be blessed at the Church of San Pablo Ermitano, in the Mexico City neighbourhood of Iztapalapa.

The festivities take place every year.

Mexican priest, Moises, was on hand to bless the animals.
The event happened on Monday. (AFP)
