THE COMFORT OF ADVANCED FACILITIE AND WELL EQUIPPED CAMPUS.

“We asked that a middle way should be found into resolving
the crisis”, he told Thisday.

Akanji described the strike as “very unfortunate”.

“It has come at a time many universities are trying to stabilise
their academic calendar.

“For us in the FUT, everything would have been normal this
year”.

Akanji pleaded with both the federal government and ASUU to
settle their differences in the interest of the education sector,
parents and students.

ASUU began a nationwide strike on August 13 to press its
demands on funding of universities and welfare of lecturers.
Its negotiating team and government had a meeting which

“Now we have some concrete proposal that we will take back
to our members for consideration,” ASUU President, Biodun
Ogunyemi, told newsmen.
