Idris Wada, former governor of Kogi state, is currently at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja.

According to online reports the former governor is being grilled over a N500 million he allegedly collected from Diezani Alison-Madueke, former minister of petroleum resources.
“He has been in custody of the anti-graft agency since 12 noon,” the source said.

Alison-Madueke allegedly disbursed $115 million through Nenadi Usman, director of finance of the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation.

Some ministers were also said to have benefited from the slush fund.
Wada was governor between 2011 and 2015. He lost his relection bid.
