Real Madrid president, Perez breaks silence on Harry Kane chase

Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, has finally spoken about speculation linking the La Liga champions with Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.

Kane impressed as Spurs drew at the Bernabeu last week in the Champions League and there has been talk of Real making a move next summer.

Perez however says he has not thought about signing the England striker, who has netted 13 times in 12 appearances already this season.

“Signing Harry Kane has not passed through my head. He is a great player and in addition he is young,” Perez told Cadena COPE .

“He has many years to progress, but we are delighted with [Karim] Benzema and with all of the team.
“I didn’t ask Tottenham’s president for the price because he would have told me that he is worth €250m.”
