Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Hon Abike Dabiri, Mr Folarin Coker and Mrs Yewande Zaccheus are the dignitaries expected at The Association of Professional Party Organisers and Event Managers of Nigeria (APPOEMN) Premier Nigeria national conference starting today and runs through September 17 in Lagos.
With the theme: Proudly Nigerian, Setting Standards, the organization’s mission is aimed at educating, advancing, networking and promoting the events industry and its network of professionals along with related industries.
According to the president of the association, Gbemisola Ope, the roundtable session would focus on moving the industry forward, standardization as well as the current industry-related issues would discussed. “The goal here is to provide stakeholders with an insight on how to do business right in Nigeria.
It would also try to educate them about the industry expectations as a whole , create awareness of the issues as well as proffer solutions to them. There would also be an award night during which 41 awards would be presented to deserving vendors and generally appreciation of stakeholders in the industry”.
According to her, The event would bring together key professionals from across the country and a spectrum of Nigerian service providers to share experiences, prospective and the latest development in the event industry.
