Leicester City Star Defender Has Submitted A Transfer Request To Join Chelsea

Leicester City midfielder, Danny Drinkwater, has requested to leave the club in order to join Premier League Champions, Chelsea.

The Blues have been targeting the England international and want to bring him to Stamford Bridge before tomorrow’s deadline.

Sky Sports reports on Wednesday that the midfielder has tendered a transfer request but added that it would take “an exceptional offer” for him to be sold.

The Forces are reportedly demanding a fee in the region of £40 million for the player with Chelsea, hoping to sign him for £30m.

Chelsea are confident of striking a deal as manager, Antonio Conte, looks to renew the partnership between Drinkwater and N’Golo Kante.
