Gunmen kidnap wife of Edo State Oil and Gas Commission chairman

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have allegedly
 abducted Mrs Augustina Uwadiae, wife of the chairman of Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOGPADEC).

The News reports that Mrs Uwadiae who is a staff of Egor local government council, in Edo state, was abducted last week Friday, May 31, on her way back from w

 that many members of staff of the
 council did not show up at work on Monday, April 3, for fear of being kidnapped also.

The husband of the victim, Mr. Vincent Uwadiae, who confirmed the incident to journalists on telephone interview, said that her abductors were yet to make demand for ransom payment, adding that he was still waiting to hear from the kidnappers.
