Former Chelsea forward Alexandre Pato has joined the bandwagon of
players moving to the Chinese Super League after completing a move to Tianjin Quanjian.The 27-year-old Brazilian star who had a stint last season with the Blues however becomes the latest player to make a move to China.
Pato who has also played for Italian club AC Milan joined the Chinese
Super League club after a brief stint at Villarreal where he scored six goals
in 24 games in all competitions.
''I am happy to have joined this club, and it is nice to be part of
the new family,'' Pato said.
He joins the likes of Oscar and Hulk (Shanghai SIPG),
Carlos Tevez (Shanghai Shenhua), Ramires (Jiangsu
Suning) Mikel Obi (Tianjin Teda) and Graziano Pelle (Shandong Luneng) in China.
Tianjin Quanjian is currently being coached by former
Italy world cup winning captain Fabio Cannavaro.
